So, I spoke to my daughter today, she seemed to be pretty good and is looking forward to going to school tomorrow. She was frustrated with a talk that her mother had with her today. We talked about her counselling appointment that she has tomorrow afternoon. Thus far, this will be the second appointment and I have yet to hear from her mother regarding the sessions.

The last time I heard from her mother was that Kayla had an infection (UTI) and nothing since. She still has not told Kayla how long she is going to be grounded for her skipping of school and running away. As far as Kayla knows she is grounded for eternity. It seems her mother needs to have more discussions with her to let her know what she is thinking when it comes to all this. Kayla is still not allowed to talk to her friends and has not gone anywhere for two weeks now.

Wanting to move - Entry 3

Tonight, I spoke to Kayla as she called around 5:00pm my time. Earlier in the day she had text me once again asking to get her out of the her mother's house. Earlier in the day, she had a medical appointment regarding what seems to be a fairly serious urinary track infection. She had an ultrasound so view her kidneys. Once again, after one of the kids had a medical appointment, I did NOT receive a text, email or phone call informing me how the appointment went regarding one of the kids....this time Kayla.

Since Kayla has announced her desire to move, information from her mother has gotten even worse, if that is even possible. Kayla also stated today that she has not been able to sleep at night lately. Today she wanted to take a nap but her mother said no as she believes that is what is keeping her up at night. Kayla stated she was exhausted but not allowed to sleep. Kayla does not seem to be getting the treatment at home that she should be getting. Her mother does not talk to her except to tell her what to do. She says she is miserable.
