Change Up
You would think that having a family website as a hobby would be a fun little project for other families members to use and stay on top of latest family news and events. Having your own little community on the Internet that ties into a few of the major social sites would be interesting for family and friends. Lately, it has been interesting to me.
Since July of this year and a request from my daughter, some things on this website now have to change. The main change, how the public will view this website. I guess the one positive I can look at with this new permission level is that it should cut down greatly on the amount of spammers the site will now receive. For the most part however, they were posting in one select area of the site which did not really effect the site to much. No, the reason for the change is not the spammers, but a nuicence of an ex-wife. Over the past six months to a year, my ex-wife has made my families life extremely difficult.
Due to her actions and comments made to other family members, I decided to change how the public will be able to view our little website. Most articles and features of the site have now been changed to where you will have to register to the site to view them. Since anyone can just join the site which would not cure the problem, I added two additional steps to the registration process. First, if someone would like to register to the site, they will have to submit a PASSPHRASE to be given access to the registration area of the site. Once that step is complete, then before permission to access the site is granted, an email will be sent to me (the Administrator) and that will notify us that a request to join the site has been sent and is waiting on our approval to join the site.
Honestly, I do not care what my ex-wife thinks or says about me. I do care when she does not like something that I have written on our little site here and then she takes it out on my kids, especially my youngest daughter with her. By Christmas this year, she will be the last remaining child that is a minor, our other three will all be over the age o f 18.
If you would like to have access to our site, you can request permission to join or complete the registration process and leave a note requesting access. If you do not know the passphrase, you may request one by sending an email here. (Please Note - PassPhrases change every 24 hours. If you request one and you do not complete the registration request within the day of your request, your passphrase will expire.)

Both our girls that are in school had plays at Christmas. Jozie was first with a musical play of Arctic Express. Taylor had a play with all the kids singing different Christmas songs while acting out some of the descriptions in the songs. They both had a very good time and did very well.
Crickett and I are two parents with three daughters, now living in Alaska. Some times are girls give us something pretty interesting to us and we thought it would be fun to share with our family and friends.
